Revensch is a new formation of saxophonist and singer Helga Plankensteiner with three winds, sax trumpet and trombone, piano and drum making a repertoire ranging between dixieland, klezmer and chanson of the 1920s. Among other tracks such as Brecht's Moritat, Weill, Charlie Chaplin's Smile and Marlene Dietrich's repertoire and some original tracks will be performed. 'As always, they played and mixed with ease the different musical genres, combining fun and expressive rigor ... behind an apparent joking lightness there is a great intensity music, extremely cured in orchestrations.' Paolo Peviani (Allaboutjazz)
