History repeats itself, in this time of international social unrest, to save the theme of oppressed people who are looking abroad is a way. Refugees are suddenly brought to the fore of international solidarity, a solidarity, first of all calls on the policy! The theme of this 'iconographic' exhibition takes us back to the 70s, when the issue of political solidarity was fundamental!

Based on an idea by Nuria Schoenberg Nono, the Art Association SlLOS ARTE.MUSICA ARCHITECTURE has developed and implemented this exceptional exhibition, which will be presented for the first time ever in public and offers the opportunity of a retrospective of politics in the 70s of the 20th century; arround100 posters are refelcting the positions of Luigi Nono, not only as a master composer, but those who are characterized by a basic intellectuality towards political issues on the international and social level.

A “collection” that stretches from Europe to Asia, from the Middle East to Latin America and that blends the charm of the graphics and the actual subjects of the paintings in a new, currently human, social and political context. Testimonies of the recent history of which the impact is current more than ever, unfortunately!

In the 70s, the poster was actually the only measure of mass communication, a medium that reached all involved social groups through it’s power of expression and has involved, and this innovative capacity has created and strengthened themes, ideas, intentions and ideologies: arguments that extended into the international policy debate. The freshness of the graphics, the variety of printing techniques and paper surfaces, the creativity in the use of colours or black / white underlines that these posters stand as independent works of art.
