Wednesday, March 25 , is the opening day of the Eighth edition of Incroci di Civiltà, the International Festival of Literature in Venice. The first meeting is dedicated to James Ivory, American director and the eight times an Oscars winner, who started his career with a documentary of venice. Incroci di Civiltà was born in 2006 as a debate on post-colonial literature at Venice University and it was named after Samuel P. Huntington's novel Clash of civilizations. Founder Shaul Bassi:
