Ca' Foscari Theatre announces 2015/16 season: Latitudini – paesaggi teatrali

From 1 December 2015 to 27 April 2016, Ca' Foscari University of Venice will host 'Latitudini – paesaggi teatrali' (Latitudes - Theatrical Landscapes), the 2015/16 season curated by Donatella Ventimiglia. 'Latitudini – paesaggi teatrali' focuses on giving the audience a glimpse into the international theatrical scene and promises to expand the spectator's horizons in new original fictional worlds and landscapes. Ca' Foscari Theatre will put on plays written by some of the greatest literary authors in the world (Irène Némirovsky, Roberto Bolaño, John Steinbeck), as well as plays by William Shakespeare, contemporary dramatist, Slawomir Mrozek, and by promising young playwrights. As during previous seasons, Ca' Foscari Theatre will also host a series of follow-up talks expanding on the playwrights feautured in 'Latitudini – paesaggi teatrali'. This talks will be held by Ca' Foscari University's professors and will be open to the public.
