The Central Public Library in Mestre dates back to 1953, and since 1994 it has been located in via Miranese 56. Every year over 100,000 people use it for reading, writing, studying, listening to music, watching films, learning languages, surfing the web, participating in cultural activities, thinking, dreaming, meeting...and of course borrowing books.
