From Tuesday, June 27 to Saturday, July 1, Venice becomes the stage of the European Tour by Music Celebration International, which will bring four well-known corals to the lagoon city from the US scene.
On Tuesday 27 June at 5pm, in the monumental setting of the church of San Stae, there will be The Heritage Signature Chorale, a gospel choir of 31 elements, coming from Washington D.C. And masterly directed by Stanley J. Thurston.
On Wednesday, June 28, at 5pm, there will be the Community United Methodist Church Chancel Choir, Fruitland Park, Florida, directed by the organizer Robert W. Milam who will bring in the Church of San Stae its own repertoire ranging from classical songs to Contemporary, gospel, spiritual, modern, both sacred and profane. The choral, which has performed twice in the famous Carnegie Hall and is on tour in Europe, performs in Venice with a selection of 23 of the 105 entries that traditionally compose it.
Always on Wednesday, June 28 at 17.00, in the beautiful church of Santa Maria dei Miracoli, there will be Z. Randall Stroope and his Oklahoma State University Concert Chorale.
The choir, with great experience, will present a repertoire ranging from Renaissance to contemporary music, with passages by Lorenzo Donati, Manolo by Rold, Jake Runestad, Eriks Esenvalds and his director Z. Randall Stroope.
To close the show on Saturday, July 1 at 17.00 (Chiesa della Pietà), Davis Senior High Baroque Ensemble, Davis, California, directed by Angelo Moreno, a young and extremely talented baroque orchestra, awarded as 'Best classical orchestra in the high school circuit'.
