In the prestigious setting of the Arsenal (formerly the factory where Venice's galleys were built), Web themes are blended with paradigms linked to new lifestyles. Among the topics of conversation are social networks, e-commerce, public administration and tourism (this latter being especially important for the city of Venice), activating comparisons and discussions with and among major Web protagonists.
During the event there will be developed spaces 'dedicated' to bloggers, with the unconventional formula of the Barcamp for the most active online communities and for developers of new web applications.What is more,
Venetian children and teens, with their vision of the city of the future, will design a Venice which is already partially enveloped in 'digital', but which becomes an even more active protagonist due to innovation.
In this setting will be present all the Web protagonists. From people who form the infrastructure (companies) to creators (writers, Facebook programmers, iPhone widgets), to politicians and administrators who implement innovative plans for the territory.
